Maybe a relative, neighbor, or student in your school would fit the criteria for a $1000 MAHPERD scholarship. If you are a high school teacher, is there a student you know that is planning on a profession in one of our disciplines? If you are on the faculty at a Maryland institution of higher learning, perhaps one of the students in your university could use financial assistance for the upcoming year.
